Oil Kings Acquire Draft Picks from Moose Jaw

Edmonton Oil Kings General Manager Randy Hansch announced today the team has acquired a fourth-round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft and a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for forward Branden Klatt.

Klatt has appeared in 41 games this season with the Oil Kings scoring four times and adding five assists. In 85 career WHL games the 6-foot-2, 197-pound Moose Jaw native has 17 points (5G, 12A) and 45 penalty minutes.

“We would like to thank Branden for his time with the Oil Kings,” said Hansch. “This move will allow Branden the opportunity to continue to develop his game while playing in his home city of Moose Jaw.”
