Oil Kings Trade Semchuk to ICE

 

The Edmonton Oil Kings announced on Thursday they have traded forward Brendan Semchuk to the Kootenay ICE.

In exchange, the Oil Kings will receive a conditional 4th round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

Semchuk was a member of the Vancouver Giants for parts of four seasons before being acquired by the Oil Kings on January 10, 2018. Through five WHL seasons he accumulated 21 goals and 48 points in 145 career regular season games played, including seven points (4G, 3A) in 18 regular season games with Edmonton over the 2017-18 and 2018-19 campaigns.

The Oil Kings thank Brendan for all his contributions to the team, on and off the ice, and wish him nothing but the best in his future hockey endeavors.
