The Moose Jaw Warriors have picked up points in their last five games (4-0-0-1), and are coming off a 9-1 thumping of the Kootenay ICE on Sunday.

They are 12-1-0-1 when scoring first, having suffered their first regulation loss of the season when potting the game’s first goal against the Kelowna Rockets last Saturday. They are 2-7-1-1 when surrendering the first goal.
QUEST FOR THE THRONE – Oil Kings captain Trey Fix-Wolansky enters Friday’s action as the WHL’s leading point-getter, having registered 14 goals and a league-leading 34 assists for 48 points in 25 games played. He has registered nine games this season with three or more points, and has tallied 16 multi-point games in total.
OFFENSE VS. DEFENCE – The Moose Jaw Warriors are tied for surrendering the third fewest goals in the WHL (55). The Edmonton Oil Kings counter with a high-potent offense which has scored the second most goals in the League at 99, trailing only the CHL top ranked Prince Albert Raiders (107).
IN THE SPOTLIGHT – Six Oil Kings players were featured in the latest NHL Central Scouting ‘Players to Watch’ List for the upcoming 2019 NHL Draft, released on Thursday. The Oil Kings led all WHL teams with six rated players (A – Matthew Robertson; C – Jacson Alexander, Vladimir Alistrov, Brett Kemp, David Kope and Boston Bilous). They are one of just two teams in the League to have each a forward, defenceman and a goaltender make the list.
