Oil Kings select Caleb Reimer in first round of 2019 WHL Bantam Draft

 

The Edmonton Oil Kings have selected centre Caleb Reimer with the first round pick (18th overall) of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft on Thursday.

The 6’2”, 180 pound native of Surrey, BC registered 18 goals and 27 assists in 30 games played as a member of Delta Hockey Academy Bantam Prep Green during the 2018-19 campaign before adding two goals and an assist in two playoff contests.

“Caleb is a big forward with a lot of upside and someone we’re excited is joining our group,” said Edmonton Oil Kings Director of Scouting, Jamie Porter. “Caleb possesses excellent puck skills and is a highly coveted power forward for our future.”
