Oil Kings trade Aidan Lawson to Tri-City Americans

The Edmonton Oil Kings have traded defenceman Aidan Lawson to the Tri-City Americans, the Club announced on Monday.

In exchange, the Oil Kings will receive a conditional 8th round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

Lawson is currently in his second full WHL campaign, both of which had been with the Oil Kings, along with a pair of games during the 2017-18 regular season. He registered a goal and six assists for seven points in 62 career games with the Club.

“We would like to thank Aidan for his contributions to the organization and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” said Oil Kings President of Hockey Operations and General Manager, Kirt Hill.
