The Edmonton Oil Kings welcomed local media to the Oilers Hall of Fame Room at Rogers Place on Monday as they announced their fourth annual partnership with the United Way in support of Coats for Kids & Families, which is in its 28th year.

Fans are encouraged to bring any new or clean, gently-used outerwear; coats, mittens, toques, boots, etc., to donate when the team hosts the Swift Current Broncos on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 7:00 PM MT. In exchange for every winter coat donated, fans will receive a pair of tickets to the Oil Kings game vs. the Everett Silvertips on Sunday, January 1, 2020 (New Year’s Fireworks Frenzy).

The Coats for Kids & Families initiatives provides the outerwear to men, women and children in need in the Alberta Central Region.

Last year, Oil Kings fans donated more than 600 coats towards the Coats for Kids & Families initiative.
